The Orwigsburg Veterans’ Memorial Development Taskforce was organized by a group of concerned citizens in August 2005. They wanted to see this corner stone of our community once again become the hub for activities and community groups.
The Veterans Community Memorial Hall will soon be providing activity space, meeting rooms, and athletic programs for the community.
The memorial building revitalization project has been underway for the past 15 years and has made outstanding progress, however, we still have a way to go to complete this project, which is being completed in a step-by-step process in order to restore it to something that our community can be proud of.
