TRIVIA NIGHT at “The Memorial”
It seemed to be a hit with everyone, and from the feedback we received as people were leaving — a good time was had by all!
On Saturday, March 21, 2015, the Orwigsburg Veterans Memorial Building Taskforce held a first time event:
TRIVIA NIGHT — 139 people came out to share their knowledge of useless information!
Our team of devoted Taskforce members did a great job . . . from the weeks before in the planning the event and securing donations, to the day of the event with all the running around — like dropping off things at the building throughout the day, to arriving early to help set up the tables and chairs, serving the food and drinks and then staying afterwards to take down the tables and chairs and cleaning up.
And talk about talk about teamwork . . . some people that had prior commitments and were unable to attend, as well as some of the participants, donate food and baked goods. In fact, even some of the participants help us take down the tables and chairs at the end of the evening. Everyone did a great job!
