The history of the Orwigsburg Community Memorial Hall’s formal inception began on Monday, November 12, 1945, with a mass meeting of the citizens of Orwigsburg in Greenawalt’s Hall.
The Orwigsburg Memorial Task Force was organized by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to see this corner stone of our community once again become the hub for activities and community groups.
The Orwigsburg Veterans Memorial Hall will soon be providing activity space, meeting rooms, and athletic programs for the community.
The memorial building revitalization project is well underway and making outstanding progress! The project is being completed in a step by step process in order to open the building for public use.
